Missed everyone. I had a great time in SF. I finally got to meet Deidre face to face. Dummy me forgot to have our picture taken together. Blonde moment.
I was a total fangrrl around her - gushing how fantastic she is. Well she is but I think I made her blush. I am in awe of all she does. Plus a new series that will make it to the bookstores soon. :) I'm already plotting my way down to DC next year. I hope more of the Knights will be able to join in the fun. Ter - hugs and prayers your way. Nancy - you are a wonder, too. She's back. :) Ann M. |

see you two together. Next time you'll remember a photo. :D I have seen one of her with one of my writing friends, Anne. It was AWESOME!!! How lucky we are
to be here in this time and place. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
Jeff and I see signs of fall and we are taking advantage of the balmy weather to have lake adventures with the kayak. Went out on Lake Huron yesterday. It works well with Jeff the only one paddling. I WISH I could because it looks like fun. Tried it for a second and my wrists screamed. I'll have to stick to snapping pics. Hugs, Nancy |

How are the Knights today? We have a beautiful day in the 80's. But Jeff came home yesterday with an allergic reaction from inhaling cedar shavings.
He's muttering this would have to happen when the weather's great.

Nancy, I'm so sorry about Jeff's allergies. Poor guy. It's so hard on men to be sick, too. Hope he gets well soon. Visited your blog the other day
just to touch base with your muse LOL.
It's a perfect morning here. It's hard to believe there's a tropical storm/hurricane lurking out there somewhere. It's cool and green and my birds of paradise have bloomed for the first time, so I'm sitting out here gloating over those while I suck down my sugar free iced mocha, my new vice. Kids go back to school tomorrow, and I feel awful that part of me is going to be relieved. David needs a predictable everyday routine to keep his life and his moods in check. And we've got him in a school that seems to at least want him this year. Which is half the battle with him. He is so sensitive to the atttidues of people around him. He's a heart savant, I guess. He always knows the good guys from the not so good at a glance. Beyond that....well, I've got some serious work to do to live up to my new writing obligations, so I need to plant my feet back on earth and get moving. :) But that's a good thing, right? Hopefully with the kids back in school I'll have more time to also finish polishing my full length which is FINALLY turning into a novel I can truly say I'm proud I wrote. Hope the rest of the Knights are doing well. It's been so quiet. But then summers are always quiet! Hugs Traci w/a Liane Gentry

I pray the tropical storm/hurricane fizzles to nothing and that David loves his schooling this year. Bless his sensitive heart! I hope he's around positive people this year, so he doesn't have to become uncomfortable. Your birds of paradise sound lovely. :D Don't you love it when your favorite blossoms appear.
